38Expressions (August 2025)
38 Expressions was a two-day celebration of creativity and community in Toronto. It began with a city-wide scavenger hunt in Toronto, where participants explored, collaborated, and competed for prizes while engaging with the city in new ways. The second day featured the 38 Exhibit – 38Voices: Stories Untold, showcasing visual and digital art, spoken word, live music, and the premiere of Holy Vexation. Together, the events created an immersive platform for storytelling and connection across multiple art forms.
DAY 1: The 38th Scavenger Hunt
On August 15th, 2025, we brought back the sequel to our iconic 38 Scavenger Hunt — and this time it was bigger, bolder, and even more exciting. With more people, more energy, and more prizes, participants set out on a lively quest filled with hidden challenges and surprises across the city. A total of $652 was spread across 6 prizes, keeping the competition fierce and spirits high. The highlight of the day came when one participant chased down our founder, Misan, to claim a staggering $338, sparking laughter and cheers from everyone involved. It was a day of adventure, connection, and unforgettable fun.
DAY 2 : 38 Exhibit – 38Voices: Stories Untold
On August 16th, 2025, we hosted the second installment of the 38 Exhibit – 38Voices: Stories Untold, bringing together Toronto’s creative community for an unforgettable evening. This year’s showcase was even bigger, featuring an immersive art installation, powerful spoken word, captivating visual pieces, live musical performances, and the premiere of Holy Vexation. The event not only celebrated diverse forms of expression but also stayed true to our mission — to amplify local talent, create space for untold stories, and spark meaningful connections within the arts community.
